Login Failed issue when trying to login to ABEL Chat
Solution:
- Add TCP 1504 port on the computer's firewall settings. Create a new Inbound rule on the computer having login failed issue and add the port.
- Turn off Windows Firewall and UAC (From the registry, will need computer to restart after)
- If it's only happening on one computer, try uninstalling portal (launching UNWISE.exe) then install portal again.
- Make sure that antivirus is turned off since it might be blocking ABEL Chat sometimes.
- Check on ABEL Chat config file if server name is correct.
- Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\ABELSoft\ABELDent (Go to regedit and paste the path. Check Server & SQL-Server value)
- Check if computer time is correct. Fixed login failed issue with one workstation by correcting time depending on office’s time zone.
