Patients Continue to Receive Multiple Appointment Reminders by SMS Even After They Have Already Confirmed Their Appointment



Error: 

Automated Appointment reminders are not checking to verify a confirmation has been received.


Solution:

Update to ABELDent 14.5.4 or later

  • If  already on version 14.5.4 or higher, if SMS duplicates are happening from Saturday, Sunday and Monday. (Depends on the non-working day configuration of each office).
  • Fix: try unchecking "Allow Non-Working Days" option on office's ABEL portal website (i.e. https://test.abelportal.com/en-ca/Account/portaladminLogOn)
