IntegriSign Signature Pad with MSWord



Summary:

Offices would like to have their patients sign custom document templates they have created in ABELDent Letter Manager. Using the IntegriSign Signatue pad to integrate with MSWord, the patient can add their signature to a document and then have it stored in their patient file in the Documents tab.

 
Steps:

1. Turn on Edit before Print and Send to Document Manager in the properties of the letter
2. Select the appropriate letter in the Letter Manager file
3. Click Merge, Merge with Patient
4. Select the patient, click OK
5. The Document Attributes dialogue will display on top, click on the letter behind to highlight it
6. Click to place the cursor where the signature is required
7. Click IntegriSign at the top of the MSWord document menu
8. Click Insert Signature Field
9. Double click to open the IntegriSign Desktop dialogue
10. Enter the Signer name
11. Add the signature 
12. Click Ok to close the IntegriSign Desktop dialogue
13. Click File/Save, then File /Exit
14. Then Document Attributes dialogue will be on screen, enter any necessary information and then click Ok to close
15. Close the Letter Manager

Support in Letter Manager related to the signature pad functionality is specific to models of  signature pads supported by MSWord.  Support in the Chart tab related to the signature pad functionality with Clinical Forms is specific to Interlink Electronics USB ePadĀ® model 9801 and Integrisign Signature Software version 6.22.  Users must install the Integrisign Signature Software version 6.22 drivers and software that accompanies the ePadĀ® model 9801.
