How Do I Activate the Time Clock Feature?
Summary:
Your office must be using ABEL Security as your Security Mode and employees must be assigned the Time Clock Privilege in Authorization Manager
Steps:
To Enable Time Clock:
1. Click Start > Programs > ABELDent Administration > Authorization Manager.
2. Type “Admin” in the User Name field and the Authorization Manager password.
3. Click OK.
4. If you are not already using ABEL Security, click the Security Mode button and click ABEL Security.
5. Click the Members or Roles tab.
6. Click on the Member or Role to whom you want to assign the Time Clock privilege.
7. In the Privileges list, click the + button beside Time Clock to expand and view the privilege options.
8. To allow a member to access the Time Clock, click the Allow TimeClock Access box.
9. To allow a member to view reports, click the box beside any or all of the following reports:
- View My TimeClock Report- A report that can serve as a daily timesheet. It shows the total “actual/entered time” for the employee for each day minus and “non-working” time.
- View Employee TimeClock Report – This report is the same as the My TimeClock Report above, except you can include the time entries for multiple employees. This report can be used by management to track daily work time.
- View Time Summary Report – Lists all employees and their work time for a specific date, or range of dates. This report can be used by management to track work time for office staff.
10. Click Close.
