Error When Sending Appt Emails to Patient

When sending email appointment reminders or contact reminders to patients, receives error data type mismatch in criteria expression.

Symptoms:
Receives error data type mismatch in criteria expression , when sending email appointment reminders or contact reminders to patients. Email can be sent to a patient from directly in a patients file by clicking the send email button or clicking on the email button on the tool bar.
Cause:
Windows is set to use a different region other than English (United States). If French (Canada) is set as the region the date format is yyyy-mm-dd. In English (United States) the default date format is mm/dd/yyyy.
Resolution or Workaround:
Change the regional settings in the Control Panel to use English (United States). This only needs to be done on the computer that will be sending the email. All other computers can be set to use their desired region.
