Eliminate Notations
Summary:
If you have to reprint the statements because of printer issues or other reasons you will first need to run the Eliminate Notations report. This report will allow you to remove the existing Statement entry, and any interest charges that were included in the Statement and applied to the patient's account.
Steps:
1. Click Reports > Financial > Eliminate Notations.
The Eliminate Notations report dialog appears.
2. Type the Practice ID for which you wish to eliminate notations.
3. Type the From PID - To PID range for which you wish to eliminate notations.
4. Type the Notations From - To date range for which you wish to eliminate notations.
5. Click the Eliminate Statement Sent? box to eliminate the "Statement" entry from the patient's Financial tab. You cannot reprint a patient's statement until the existing Statement entry is removed.
6. Click the Eliminate Interest Charge? box to eliminate interest charges included in the Statement that were applied to the account. If you are reprinting a statement, make sure you check this box to avoid double-charging the patient for interest.
7. Click OK.
8. Click Yes.
