Can I Delete a Provider?
Summary:
No, but you can inactivate them .
When you inactivate a provider, their records will still be available to you when printing reports, searching for treatment administered by a provider, making billing adjustments etc., but will not be available for:
- Adding new appointments
- Adding new contacts
- Billing
Steps:
1. Open File > Update > Provider > Information.
2. Select a Provider from the list.
3. Click Edit.
4. Click the Inactivate check box and the following message appears.
5. Read the message to understand the implications associated with inactivating a Provider.
6. Click Yes to inactivate the provider.
