How Do I Change a User's Password?
Summary:
Only an Administrator, or user with Administrator privileges can log onto Authorization Manager and change a User’s password. Administrator privileges should not be given to all users, but only those who will be responsible for setting up and maintaining ABELDent users.
Please keep the admin password information in a safe and secure location as ABEL does not have access to your password information. The admin password will be required to reopen the Authorization Manager.
Steps:
1. Launch Authorization Manager.
The ABEL Security login screen opens.
2. Type "Admin" and the administrator Password.
3. Click OK.
The ABELDent Authorization Manager window opens.
4. Click the Members tab.
5. Click the Edit button beside the Member/Provider whose password you are changing.
The Member Information window opens.
6. Have the Member/Provider type their new password In the Password field and then retype it in the Confirm Password field. Do not use special characters or symbols in your password—alphanumerics only.
7. Click Save.
8. Click Close.
