Patterson Imaging - Does Not Display Images for the Correct Patient
Issue:
When I use Patterson bridging software to display images for a patient, it displays the same patient each time regardless of the patient record I have open.
Solution:
Windows 7:
1. Click Start.
2. In the Search Text box, type "UAC" and press Enter.
3. The User Account Control Settings window appears.
4. Drag the track bar down to Never Notify.
5. Click OK.
6. Close ABELDent
7. Restart your server (computer).
Patterson should now open images for the correct patient.
Windows 8 and Later:
1. Click Start.
2. In the Search Text box, type "UAC" and press Enter.
The User Account Control Settings window appears (see sample above).
3. Drag the track bar down to Never Notify.
4. Click OK.
5. Click Start.
6. In the Search Text box, type “RegEdit” and press Enter.
7. Follow the path below.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System Key: EbableLUA
8. Right-click on Enable.lua
9. Make sure the value is set to 0.
10. Close ABELDent
11. Restart your server (computer).
Patterson should now open images for the correct patient.
