Write-off Report Account Type
Summary:
This report generator report will provide a detailed list of Account (patient) Write-offs.
Steps:
1. Open ABELDent
2. Select Reports, then Generator from the menu.
3. At the menu, select Table Selection, click OK.
4. Select tables:
Transactions þ
Patients þ
Transaction References þ
5. Click OK.
6. At menu, select Field Layout, Click OK.
7. At “Transactions” file Field Parameters enter the following field values; leave all others at their default:
Search By 2
Date þ 2 A
Patient ID o 0 B
Fee Amount o 0 E
Recep ID o 0 H
Main Provider þ 1 D
Trans Type þ 0 F
8. Click OK
9. At “Patients” file Field Parameters enter the following field values; leave all other fields at their default:
Using 3 (to find patient ID) – shown in upper middle area
Full Name o 0 C
10. Click OK
11. At “Transaction References” file Field Parameters enter the following field values: leave all other fields at their default:
Reference o 0 G
12. Click OK
13. At menu, select Criteria Entry, click OK
14. At “Selection of Records” enter the required information:
Date (enter the range you require to search within)
Main Provider (enter ID in first and second box)
Trans Type enter from W to W
15. Leave all other fields at their default.
16. Click OK
17. At menu, select Generate Report, click OK.
18. After record scanning is complete the Report Generation dialog screen will display.
19. At Report Generation, enter an appropriate title such as: Account Write-offs by Provider.
20. At the section Totaling at Patient ID, enter a C, at Fee Amount, enter a T. Leave all other fields at their default.
21. Click OK.
22. Choose OK to print, or preview to view on screen
23. At menu, select Save As, click OK.
24. Enter a File Name of WOacct
25. Click on Save button.
