Bridging to Adstra Imaging Software
Summary:
Adstra Imaging software can be used in place of or as a complement to the basic functionality of ABELDent's Imaging tab. A simple data bridge is available to Adstra Imaging to simplify access to the product for ABELDent users.
Note: It is the responsibility of the user to obtain, install, and arrange for training on the Adstra Imaging software. ABELSoft provides the Adstra Imaging bridge as a Software Maintenance benefit to ABELDent users. ABELSoft is not responsible for the Adstra Imaging contents, installation, backup, or any other aspects of the Adstra Imaging product. ABELSoft does not support or maintain the Adstra Imaging application. The information below only describes how to launch this application and pass it the patient's information from ABELDent.
Setting up the Bridge:
These steps are completed only once.
1. Open a patient file in ABELDent.
2. Click File, Integration Setup to launch the integration setup window. Note: This menu open is available only when a patient file is open.
3. Click Adstra, click Activate.
4. Locate the file Adstra.exe. The default location is C:\Adstra\Adstra.exe. Browse to My Computer, Local Disk C:, Adstra, then click the Adstra.exe, click Open.
5. Click Close to exit the dialog.
Exporting a Patient to Adstra Imaging:
Once the integration setup is complete you can export patient information to Adstra Imaging, however it is important to launch Adstra Imaging independently before exporting patients.
1. Launch Adstra Imaging application. This can run minimized on the Windows Toolbar.
2. In ABELDent, Open the patient you wish to export.
3. Click File, Export Patient, and Adstra.
4. The Adstra Imaging application will open to the exported patient's file.
