Can I Email a Patient Receipt or Statement?
Currently (as of ABELDent version 12) there is no feature available to send Statements or Receipts to patients by Email.
Explanation:
Email functionality in ABELDent continues to improve and expand to different areas. Although not all email features are currently present, as we develop the program, there will be more and more email functionality added. As a result, it is prudent to capture email addresses for patients who authorize the dental office to communicate by Email, so the email addresses are already entered when new features become available.
You may capture the email address of a patient in their Personal tab, as well as the associated Permissions for use of their email address.
