Solution:
Logging into windows as Administrator and activating the bridge normally allows the path registry value to save.
However, on occasion, disabling UAC (User Account Control) is also required if the problem persists.
Turning off the UAC from the User Account Settings Window does not actually disable UAC (It just turns off notifications).
To completely disable UAC, you must change values in the windows registry:
Steps:
- Click Start
- Type “regedit” and hit enter
- Navigate to: KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
- Double-click EnableLUA
- Set Value to 0
- Click Ok
User Account Control is now actually disabled
