Error: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID (E287DDA9-38C5-11D5-91F6-00104BDB88F9) failed due to the following error: 80040154 Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT:0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG))
Solution: Register DSkernel2.dll
1. Check C:\Windows\SysWOW64 and see if that is present? If so, open a command prompt (as administrator) and type ‘regsvr32 DSKernel2.dll’ (without the quotes) and press Enter.
2. You may see a message stating the DLL was registered successfully. If so, try opening ABEL.
3. You may need to navigate to C:\Windows\SysWOW64 in the command prompt before attempting to register the .dll
Note : On a 32 bit machine, the dll will have to be registered from Windows/system32 folder. This error also affects imaging tab.
